This draw reflects a movement of two bodies, where the charcoal drawing is presented like a performance. The theme about the Body and Movement is increasingly contemporary. The drawing was made on the floor. I make the movement with my own body, it’s assume the objective of this work.
The drawing was made on the floor, the process being filmed with a suspended camera. The movement I make with my own body when drawing assumes the main objective of the work, as if it were a performance, in the process of construction. The drawing is easy to transport, however, the video complement is the goal of the artwork. A process of construction and manipulation in which the use of charcoal with my body becomes a dance on paper. The interesting thing is to show the public for this search, how art is made. How the artist develops his themes.

CROSS THE LINE AND THINK, 2022
“Crossing the line and thinking” is the name of the artistic installation that is presented to us as an appeal to the current problem related to the excessive consumption of animal meat. Being one of the main problems for the sustainability of planet earth and the imbalance of ecosystems, this work appears as a request to reduce this consumption. It should be installed along a corridor between walls, making a red “hamburger” line on the floor. The simple act of the observer, having to cross the line to continue visiting the exhibition, makes him participate and interact in the work. After this action, the observer should analyze this same subject, and act in favor. It is a request, a commitment to planet earth, in which each of us, when crossing this same red line, from that same moment, will reflect on our choices, in which they can affect tomorrow. It affects ourselves and future generations!

“Red meat line” is the name of a short film that gives us an answer for a current problem related with the excess of meat consumption.
It’s a complement to the work “Cross the line and think”, where I present seven reasons for which our daily choices may affect future generations. “-Don’t you know how to change? I help you.”

THE BODY DRAGS ITSELF IN THE RAW FABRIC, 2018
“The body drags itself in the raw fabric” is the theme of the work, where the body appears as a means of connection between the material and the support. A study takes place. The study of how the body creates different prints in different surfaces; finding different plastic solutions, with low and high relief, or simply by revealing a digital print. A search for more primitive forms takes place; since the most basic skin print (where the use organic and inorganic inks happens) to simply printing body’s sweat. This work tries to find on the observer positive sensations through the beauty, the body and the feminine related to the nature identified in it; but also searches on the observer the unconscious repulsion, the negative, and his human nature with all its characteristics. The viewer ends up seeing himself in the work. Starting with my own body experiences, I decided to study different projections of it. A constant protection of the image from to the outside happens, making the final image, raw and rough, a strong image; like a firm mark with a strong presence. All the presented pieces in the exhibition are related to the empirical order and to the follow up of ideas that results from an accumulation of suggestions and pertinent answers.

PROPERTIES AND APPROPRIATIONS
synopsis
Influences of a closed circuit. We live and influence each other. My action today can help another tomorrow. During this artistic action, two people will walk across two parallel cotton papers in a cycle, clockwise. Gender equality, a female and a male walking. At the beginning of each cotton paper, there is a container with an organic ink (diluted beetroot), so that the feet leave a visible mark on the leaves that are on the floor, and the footprints of both are mixed during the performance. Everyday actions will be represented, such as running, looking around, crouching, among others, in a very random way. Finally, a poetic message will be interpreted in Sign Language, reinforcing the equality of the human being and the influences that we all have with each other.
“At intervals I reach you, let my mark with you and run away, mere interrupted trace, that the presence of the rediscovered trail and red ends. Stains of people pass through your eyes. Can’t you see what they are? Influences of a closed circuit. Touch it! Let them touch you. And then the body drags through the fabric, raw and unlimited. He touches, I touch” (text interpret in sign language)

The experience of removing an organic ink from the body with sheets of paper is documented here step by step. The result is stored in the file box with all the impressions of the body parts, along with the body molds.

THE ARCHIVE OF PRINTS, 2018
“The archive of prints” emerges from the need of organize or file all the
records or experiences collected through all these months. The need of more easily carry all the essays came up. I created a box, which is possible to move from one place to another, searching for the body essence as the base of my work. The body is like an archive, in it we can find all the information of skin prints, from the outside the observer sees a complete creation of information
samples, a chest full of small studies. To accomplish this archive, it was necessary that the measures of the box matches my body exact proportions.
I want to refer that this is not an autobiographical or self representation work,
but as all the experiences were made using my own body, this one serves as a practical model of this study concept. Even if, for the observer, it apparently looks like an autobiographical idea, the intention or focus is only and exclusively to explore this theme. My body is just the tool to achieve it.
